Its been interesting to read what has come in the media in the last 3-4 days on the whole '@Deepika Padukone' vs 'Times of India' issue...what's all this ho ha about??
So how much of this is really true? Being an (ex) PR person, a part of me feels it's planted, another part of me feels 'why would you plant some thing like this'! But the timing (with 1 movie just hitting the screens and another one on its way), seems like even she too wants to be seen!
But being a big fan of the lady, find it a bit hard to believe that she would do this too! She comes across as a very clean, straight person and having made it on her own, all the more wouldn't adopt such means.
But it's interesting to see such news is now even picked up by international media..Never knew that Bollywood news was so BIG!
In the past when we would plan PR campaigns (be the launch of Intel's P3 processor, @http://www.kayaskinclinic.me/Kaya Skin Clinic's launch in the middle east, promoting various entertainment shows, each PR strategy though looked simple from the front, involved a lot of planning (be it the release of the pre-launch story, deciding on the date of the launch and more importantly sustaining the campaign to ensure there is enough excitement on the brand).
So now to come back to the whole 'cleavage issue', I wouldn't be surprised if this was part of the marketing plan for the launch of the music of Happy New Year as it was all too perfectly timed! But alas, these are only my thoughts and no one except the strategists will know the truth!
